Angelune for Android

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 17, 2026

Angelune is angel-number meanings and a private sightings journal. This policy describes the current Android product identified by tech.openverse.angelune.

1. Data stored on your device

The app may store saved angel-number sightings and app preferences. This content is stored locally in Android app storage. Android backup is disabled for this app. Openverse does not receive this private content merely because you create or save it.

2. Data processed by service providers

Analytics and diagnostics

We may use PostHog and Google Firebase Analytics to understand app launches, screen or feature interactions, purchase-flow events, device/OS information, coarse network information, and failures. We do not intentionally include journal text, dreams, readings, names, birth dates, baby profiles, care-event notes, or other private content in analytics events. Analytics uses a pseudonymous app-install identifier rather than requiring your name or email.

Purchases

Google Play processes payments. RevenueCat may process a pseudonymous app user identifier, product identifiers, entitlement status, purchase and renewal events, country/region supplied by the store, and limited device/app diagnostics to provide purchases and restore access. We do not receive your full payment-card details.

Advertising

The free version uses Google AdMob. Google may process IP-derived approximate location, device or other identifiers (including the Android advertising ID when available and permitted), ad interactions, and diagnostics to deliver, measure, secure, and limit ads. Where required, Google User Messaging Platform asks for consent before personalized advertising. You can choose non-personalized ads where offered. Premium access removes ads; the app must not request ads while premium is active.

Cloud and AI features

The current Android release does not upload your private content to Openverse for cloud AI processing. If a future version introduces an optional cloud or AI feature, we will add a clear in-app disclosure and update this policy before content is transmitted.

3. Purposes and sharing

Data is used only to operate purchases, provide and secure ads where applicable, measure app reliability and feature usage, prevent fraud, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information. Service providers process data under their own terms and our instructions. Advertising providers may use permitted data for ad delivery and measurement.

4. Retention and deletion

Local data remains until you delete it in the app where a deletion control is available, clear the app's storage in Android Settings, or uninstall the app. Analytics, advertising, and purchase providers retain their records under their documented retention policies and legal obligations. Email privacy@openverse.tech for a privacy request. We may need a receipt or pseudonymous identifier to locate provider-side purchase records.

5. Security

Android application sandboxing and device encryption help protect local app data. Data sent to service providers uses encrypted network connections. No system is perfectly secure; keep your device and Google account protected.

6. Children

Angelune is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children.

7. International rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Contact us at privacy@openverse.tech. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

8. Changes and contact

We will update this page and its date when this policy changes materially. Privacy questions: privacy@openverse.tech. General support: support@openverse.tech.
